What is a charm bar and how does it work here?
A charm bar is a place where you put together your own jewellery from hundreds of charms and take it home straight away. Here at Mečová 6 in Brno, it usually takes 20 to 60 minutes, and if there are three of you or fewer, you don’t need to book.
How it works
What happens on your first visit?
You choose a base, find your charms, attach them with small pliers and take the finished piece home straight away. It usually takes 20 to 60 minutes, depending on how long you spend choosing, and we’ll help you with the first steps.

Choose your base
First, choose what you’d like to make: a bracelet, a necklace or a keyring.

Find your charms
Hearts, letters, symbols, animals and other designs. Pick the ones that feel like you.

Step 03
Attach the charms
Open a small ring, slide the charm on and attach it to the base. It’s easier than it looks.

Step 04
And you’re done!
Just close the rings tightly, check that everything holds, and that’s it! Your talisman is ready.
What can you make?
A bracelet, a necklace or a keyring, with as many charms as you like. There are no limits here. It’s all yours.

A bracelet or necklace
A gold- or silver-coloured base. Our stainless steel chains can handle ordinary contact with water and sweat.

A keyring base with a clasp. Add charms to it however you like.

Charms
Hearts, letters, symbols, animals and other designs. You can add more charms to the same base whenever you like.

Prices
How much does it cost?
A base costs 349 CZK and a standard charm 89 CZK, so a bracelet with four to six charms comes to between 705 and 883 CZK. You only pay for what you choose.

- 89 CZK Charm Price per charm. You choose the designs in the shop.
- 149 CZK Special charm Some charms cost more, as shown on the price list in the shop.
- 119 CZK Keyring base A keyring you add charms to as you like.
- 705 CZK Example: bracelet with 4 charms 349 CZK + 4 × 89 CZK.
- 386 CZK Example: keyring with 3 charms 119 CZK + 3 × 89 CZK.

- In the shop, by card or in cash. All prices are final.

01 Why is it called a charm bar?
A charm is a small pendant you attach to a bracelet or necklace, and the bar is the counter where you choose your charms and put your piece together.
02 How is a charm bar different from a jeweller’s?
At a jeweller’s, you choose a finished piece. At a charm bar, you put it together yourself: you pick a base, add charms and attach them on the spot. Talisman isn’t a jeweller’s.
03 Can I do it if I’ve never done anything like this before?
Yes. You attach each charm with small pliers: open the ring, slide the charm on and close the ring tightly again. We’ll show you how, and we’re happy to help whenever you need it.
04 Do I need to know what I want beforehand?
No, you don’t. You choose your charms in the shop from hundreds of designs. Picking the right one isn’t easy, but that makes it all the more fun.
05 Can I take my jewellery home straight away?
Yes. Once you’ve closed the rings and checked that everything holds, you can wear it right away.
06 Can I buy charm bar jewellery online?
No, you can only put your piece together here at Mečová 6. The only thing we sell online is electronic gift vouchers.
07 Can I give a charm bar visit as a gift?
Yes, as a gift voucher, which the person you give it to can use to make their own jewellery with us. It arrives by e-mail as a PDF right after payment and is valid for 9 months.
Who is it for?
Anyone who wants to put together a piece of jewellery their own way. Come on your own, with a friend, with your mum or in a small group. You can also give the experience as a gift.

With a friend or your mum
Up to three of you can come without booking, any time during opening hours. You’re welcome to come on your own, too.

With all your friends
A hen party, a birthday or a company event. For groups of four or more, get in touch in advance. There’s room for up to 10.

As a gift
Buy a voucher online, and the person you give it to can make their own piece with us.

You’ll find us at Mečová 6, Brno-střed, a few steps from Špalíček. Up to three people can drop in any time without booking. Opening hours: Monday 13:00 to 19:00, Tuesday to Friday 11:00 to 19:00, Saturday 10:00 to 18:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 15:00.
